September was occupied by our trip to Hawaii. Lisa received her CPCU certification and the ceremony just happened to be in Honolulu. So the entire clan made the trip. 6 days on Oahu and 4 days on the big island of Hawaii. Here's some highlights: Above is a photo looking across Waikiki Beach to our hotel.
This is from the top of Diamond Head (an extinct volcano crater). The "short hike" was 3/4 of a mile and 600 ft up.The kids survived the 9.5 hour plane from Atlanta to Honolulu. Both were extremely well behaved.
Below is a photo from the hotel on Waikiki where Trey and Claire learned to Hula Dance.

On to the Big Island...
Trey and Claire "posing" at our hotel on the big island. The island of Hawaii is known for volcanoes and a lush tropical northeast side.
